We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will never sell your personal data or your child's data to third parties.

2.2 Baby / Child Data
- Baby's name, date of birth, and gender
- Growth measurements: weight, height, head circumference
- Developmental milestone records
- Health event notes (e.g. vaccinations, doctor visits)
- Photo (optional, for baby profile)
2.3 Usage Data
- App usage events (screens visited, features used) — collected via Firebase Analytics
- Device type and operating system version
- App version
- Crash reports and error logs
2.4 Advertising Data (Free Tier)
If you use the free version of the App, Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and usage data to serve personalized ads. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide and maintain the App's core functionality
- Personalize growth charts and milestone tracking based on your baby's data
- Send developmental notifications and reminders (with your permission)
- Improve the App based on usage patterns

We do not use your data for automated profiling or decision-making that has legal effects on you.
4. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored securely using Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Storage), which is hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit (TLS/HTTPS).
We implement the following security measures:
- Firebase Security Rules to ensure users can only access their own data
- Passwords are never stored in plain text — handled entirely by Firebase Authentication
- No third party has access to your personal or baby data outside of our service providers listed below
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party processors to provide our services:
- Google Firebase — Authentication, Firestore database, Storage, Analytics, Cloud Messaging. Firebase Privacy
- Google AdMob — Advertising (free tier only). Google Privacy Policy
These services have their own privacy policies and we recommend reviewing them.
6. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
Bambino is designed for use by parents and caregivers, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under the age of 13.
Data about children (growth measurements, milestones, etc.) is entered by the parent/guardian and is treated with the utmost care. This data is:
- Only accessible to the account holder who entered it
- Never shared with advertisers
- Never used to target advertising
- Deleted upon account deletion request

7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all personal data and baby data associated with your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the confirmed request.
Some anonymized, non-identifiable analytics data may be retained for product improvement purposes.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Correction: Update inaccurate data (editable in-app)
- Deletion: Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format

9. Push Notifications
